Each fighter received $65,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries.

Alan Belcher will take on Patrick Cote at UFC 83 in Montreal on April 19

Alan Belcher (11-3), who had to pull out of this past weekend’s UFC 81 event with bronchitis, will take on Patrick Cote (12-4) at an April 19 UFC 83 event at Montreal’s Bell Centre according to MMAjunkie.

Cote is on a four-win streak, his recent victories include Kendall Grove at UFC 74 and Drew McFedries at UFC Fight Night 12.

Belcher is a former light heavyweight, he began his UFC career with a 1-2 record but has since posted back-to-back victories over Sean Salmon and Kalib Starnes.

Should be quite interesting match up.
