Leading up to UFC 100, Dana White said he would jump off the Mandalay Bay Casino if the event reached 1.5 million pay-per-view buys.

Well, it reached 1.6 million.

Now, he claims the media has brought it up so much lately, that he feels he needs to back up his original promise and BASE jump off the building. He admits that he’s been training with “one of the best BASE jumpers in the US.”

“That’s what I get for opening my big mouth. I didn’t know we were going to do that many buys. I didn’t know. So, I said I’d do it. Now I’m going to do it.” – White

For those concerned, the Mandalay Bay Hotel is 43 stories high. In 2002, one in every 60 BASE jumpers resulted in a fatality. Good luck, Dana. We’ll be watching!
