CSAC Reduces Sean Sherk’s Steroid Suspension

Written by UFCscene

After several continuances, the CSAC has finally issued a rulling on Sean Sherk’s Steroid appeal. The Commission upheld his $2,500 fine and reduced his one year suspension to six months, making Sherk eligible to fight again in January.

If the most recent statement by UFC president Dana White is to be believed, then Sean Sherk will now be stripped of his title, Sherk will then likely return to face the winner of the UFC 80: BJ Penn vs. Joe Stevenson match, which is currently scheduled to be for the Interim Lightweight Championship.
