Alessio Sakara vs. James Lee at UFC 80

MMA Mania is reporting Light heavyweights Alessio Sakara (11-6) and James Lee (12-2) will square off on the UFC 80: “Rapid Fire” Fight Card which takes place at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, England on the 19th of January. The UFC 80 fight card is now seemingly just one bout away from being complete.
MMAmania (www.mmamania.com) first learned about the match up earlier this morning from members of the Sakara management team. In addition, representatives indicated that this will be the last fight for Sakara at 205 pounds in the near future — he plans to dip down to middleweight (185 pounds) regardless of the result in the United Kingdom.

Also guys, just wanted to say again how much I like this site! I’ll try to spread the word so it gets a little more attention.
Wikipedia indicates the Alessio Sakara vs. Drew McFedries fight took place at light heavyweight. McFedries is still recovering from the staph infection and won’t be back until early next year. Glad you like the site.

Didn’t he already drop to fight McFedries? Where is that guy anyway? Last I heard he had a terrible staph infection. Hopefully Alessio will have better luck in the 185.
