Pedro Rizzo has received an offer to fight Fedor Emelianenko. Pedro Rizzo (16-7), traveled yesterday to Netherlands to help his friend Peter Aerts for the K-1 GP final. He also traveled with the objective of sharpening his striking for a possible fight with Fedor Emelianenko.

“Yes, we did received an offer to fight Fedor, but it is too soon to talk about it.”

said manager Joinha, Pedro Rizzo´s manager.

Sidenote — Rizzo lost two consecutive times to Randy Couture in 2001. Also worth mentioning according to Sherdog Pedro had only one fight in 2005 and 2006. He had lost both of them.

Rizzo returned to his winning ways on the 9th March, 2007 when he beat UFC veteran Justin Eilers by unanimous decision at the début show of Art of War.

He defeated Jeff Monson on September 1, 2007. This fight took place on the first pay-per-view event promoted by the Art of War organization.

So much for the better competition for Fedor.
